Mark S. Blackman was elected to the United Trustees Association’s (UTA) 2014 Board of Directors at an election held at the organization’s annual conference last November 9th to 12th. Mark has been an active member of the UTA for the past 17 years, and served on the board of the UTA’s predecessor, the California Trustees Association (CTA) for eight years.
The UTA is comprised of individuals acting as trustees under real property deeds of trust which includes employees of title companies, financial institutions, and other independent companies. This trade organization is an advocacy group for a specialized segment of the real estate industry which provides information, expertise, continuing education and opinions on trustee related issues, laws and practices.
