Jack Koczara Wearing Catcher's Mit
Encino Little League All Stars Posted by Admin on Jun 13 2019

The Alpert, Barr & Grant family congratulates Jack Koczara, 11, for his inclusion in the 2019 District 40 Encino Little League 12U All Star Team.  Jack, son of AB&G Counsel Ryan Koczara, has been an avid baseball player since age 5, and is very excited to play in this year’s all-star games.

The love of baseball runs in the family as younger brother Milo, 8, played for the Phillies in the same league’s Farm Division.   In the summer, Jack also plays on the Sherman Oaks Baseball Academy’s travel team, where Noah Kasendorf, son of AB&G Partner Alex Kasendorf, is a teammate.

Over 700 children (ages 4 to 14) from the Encino, Tarzana, Sherman Oaks and surrounding areas participate in the Encino Little League (ELL) each year.  ELL is a non-profit youth sports organization that depends on parent participation and community volunteers.  The program aims to provide youth athletes a fun, friendly yet competitive environment where they are able to develop their skills and build lasting friendships.

Congratulations to Jack and all the other young athletes of the Encino Little League for all of their hard work and great sportsmanship!
