Congratulations to Alexander S. Kasendorf, who successfully obtained final judgment after appeal in a contentious landlord-tenant matter that lasted over two years.

Alex represented the plaintiff in a matter that began as an unlawful detainer action, and progressed to a civil action for damages.  The trial court found that plaintiff proved that the significant damage to the property caused by the defendant exceeded ordinary wear and tear, and, therefore, entered judgment in favor of the plaintiff.

The defendants appealed the trial court’s decision, asserting procedural errors in how the lower court handled the case. Upon review, the Court of Appeal affirmed the trial court’s decision, and upheld the judgment in favor of the plaintiff. The Court of Appeals also awarded Alex’s client his costs on appeal.

We congratulate Alex on this latest victory.
