William T. Carlsen, Esq. is a litigation associate of Alpert, Barr & Grant. His practice in both State and Federal courts centers around helping clients to achieve success in disputes involving trademarks, copyrights, unfair competition, trade secrets, shareholder disputes, and business disputes of all kinds. Having served clients ranging from individual shareholders to companies with multi-billion-dollar capitalizations, William understands the unique positions clients can find themselves in and how to efficiently help navigate them to where they want to go.
William has lived, studied, and worked around the world, gaining valuable experiences and insights along the way which he uses to better serve his clients. Earning law degrees from both the United States, and United Kingdom gives William a unique understanding of, and appreciation for, the law which aides him in crafting creative solutions to client problems.
He earned his LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, his LL.B. from Bangor University Law School, and his B.A. from the University of Colorado.
William is admitted to practice law in California, New York, and Massachusetts.
