Lee Kanon Alpert, panelist at 2009 VerdeXchange Green Marketmakers Conference

ENCINO, CALIF.--Lee Kanon Alpert was a guest panelist at the 2009 VerdeXchange Green Marketmakers Conference in Los Angeles. The discussion topic was "Emerging Investment Opportunities in Energy Infrastructure Double Bottom-Line." Joining Alpert on the panel were Congressman Earl Blumenauer, Jim Wunderman, Bay Area Council President and CEO and Jerry Simmons, Sandia National Labs, New Mexico.

The conference was attended by entrepreneurs, manufacturers, government officials, financial investors and environmental steward to examine the rapidly emerging business opportunities for clean energy and green technology. Alpert spoke in his capacity as president of the City of Los Angeles Board of Water and Power Commissioners.
