Adam Grant was a featured speaker at Camp CARRY 2016, an event hosted by the Coalition for At-Risk Restoring Youth (CARRY). The camp is a part of the group’s Esteemed Growth program which gives participants the opportunity to develop their self-esteem and social skills through participation in self-esteem workshops, social skills training, healthy lifestyle tips, goal-setting lessons and a lot more.
A twelve time Ironman finisher, Adam enthusiastically shared of his knowledge and experiences about leading a healthy lifestyle, and taught the attendees simple but healthy exercises they may be able to incorporate in their daily lives. Adam also spoke out practicing law as a shareholder with Alpert, Barr & Grant. Other guest speakers also taught participants about yoga, proper nutrition, developing self-confidence and other worthwhile activities.
As a volunteer driven non-profit organization CARRY’s mission is, “to make a difference in the lives of foster-care and at-risk youth by providing programs that enhance self-esteem, self-worth, self-sufficiency, and long term success.”
