Lee Kanon Alpert is an award winning attorney, arbitrator and mediator with more than 35 years of legal experience. His primary practice areas are business and corporate law, administrative and government relations, arbitration and mediation, cable franchising negotiations, commercial, construction and real estate transactional law. He serves as offsite general counsel for a number of businesses.
Mr. Alpert has served as a Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore and as a private and court-appointed arbitrator, mediator and referee. He helped design the American Arbitration Association’s California Mediation Program and was the first American Arbitration Association (AAA) mediator on the West Coast. In 1984, he received the AAA award as the Outstanding Commercial/Construction Arbitrator of the Year.

- Admitted to practice in all state courts in California, before the Federal District Court for the Central District, the United States Federal Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and holds special license to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Family:
Mr. Alpert enjoys all travel, most sporting activities and amateur color photography. He is married to his wife of 37 years, resides in Northridge, California with their English Labrador Retriever. He and his wife are the proud parents of two adult sons one of whom is completing his PhD, at the University of Michigan, in Higher Education, on full grant and the other of which after graduating the University of Arizona is now a member of the Los Angeles Police Department.
