Congratulations to our own Adam D.H. Grant on his epic performance at Ultraman Florida 2018. Ultraman is an invitation only athletic event that challenges an athlete’s mental and physical limits through a grueling 3-day competition that includes a 6.2 mile swim, 263 mile bike ride and 52.4 mile double marathon run.

As a 13-time Ironman finisher, Adam knew the demands of these races and endured months of grueling preparations that included daily double workouts and a special diet, all while managing an incredibly demanding and growing practice, and a busy home life.

Adam performed incredibly well throughout the race, including finishing the 6.2 mile swim in an amazing 3 hours 22 minutes which earned him a 12th place ranking overall for the swim portion of the competition. Adam then completed the first day by finishing the 90 mile bike ride in 4 hours 45 minutes. On the second day, Adam completed 171 miles of cycling in 9 hours and 47 minutes. Adam completed the third day double marathon (52.4 miles) in 10 hours and 25 minutes.

Adam’s stellar performance at Ultraman Florida now qualifies him for the Ultraman Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Congratulations Adam, and we look forward to your journey to the Ultraman Championship!
